The marketing team at Encompass is a super creative team with a real passion for positioning their company as THE best choice for Home Health and Hospice, anywhere! We think they do an excellent job and would like to spotlight one of the campaigns that the Boundless Collection team assisted them with.
Encompass is always challenged with encouraging referral sources to keep Encompass Home Health and Hospice top of mind when their patients have home health or hospice needs. There are lots of options in home health, but communicating THE ENCOMPASS DIFFERENCE, and why their services are superior, is the mission of their marketing efforts for 2014.
Encompass has an incredibly knowledgeable team of sales professionals that visit various physician offices in hopes of sharing the Encompass difference and their commitment to quality patient care every day. With OCS Home Care Elite Status (given to the top 25% of agencies), they have plenty of stories to share. Each month for the 2014 marketing campaign, the Encompass representative is providing referral sources with information about various things that make Encompass different and that set them apart from all of their competitors (e.g. Strong Company Culture, Compassionate Clinical Teams, Quality Care & Superior Outcomes, and Commitment to Compliance). They couple this information with a piece of printed collateral and a small “leave behind”. This year, the monthly leave behind is a coffee mug. Why? It has been statistically proven that 87% of people remember WHO gave them a promotional gift! With the goal of keeping Encompass top of mind with their referral sources, the coffee mug leave behind has proven to be very successful!
Each month the physician’s office receives a new mug, imprinted with a different word or phrase, to add to their collection (they will have a full set of 12 coffee mugs by end of this year). For example, in March, the mug design featured the word STRONG. The campaign in March highlights their STRONG COMPANY CULTURE. The Encompass associate delivered the mug along with an oversized printed postcard that spoke to their “Best Places to Work” award, the professional development opportunities provided to the Encompass employees, along with their focus on achieving excellence throughout their best in class staff of nurses, therapists, social workers and aides. The monthly coffee mug campaign is an excellent and useful gift but also provides a “talking track” for the Encompass associate to share the Encompass story…maybe even over a cup of coffee. And since 83% of Americans drink coffee, chances are each of the physicians’ offices has at least ONE coffee drinker. WE think this is a great way to start the day while keeping Encompass Home Health & Hospice “top of mind” with the people who can truly affect their business!
